Mindfulness meditation?

I am struggling with a deep depression, and have for eight years. I am beginning mindfulness meditation. I would like from anyone who has practiced this and determine what they feel they receive or do not hear from him.


I have ADHD. I started with meditation mindful breathing "a few years ago. It really helped me maintain focus and stay mentally "in the now '.

You Don’t Have To Be Buddhist To Realistically Buddhist Meditation

One of the misconceptions of Buddhism is that is musing to be a creed in the brains that it worships Buddha as God.  Buddha is not worshipped as a God – he is considered a Saintly Man whose actions you could scale model in improper to have a fulfilling spark of life and to lessen tribulation.  Buddhist meditation does not rely on following the Buddha.  You can far take the underlying principles of Buddhist meditation and use it in any dogma or tenet system.

Not The Only Way

The Buddha taught many kinds of meditation, because there are many special kinds of people.  And, if none of those ways seemed to industry, not to hassle about it and find your own way of meditation.  The Buddha was not into “my way or the highway” teachings.  He often urged his followers to find things out for themselves and to not take the teachings of anyone as Fact (exculpation the pun).

There are many, many kinds of Buddhist meditation – much too many to go over in an article such as this.  There are many books, websites and the other articles on this place that can labourers you find out the details of particular kinds of Buddhist meditation.  But do not torment that you have to change your doctrine – or take up any faith at all – in structure to repetition Buddhist meditation.
