Where is there a large statue of buddha carved into the rocks along the bank of a river?
I have this image of a large Buddhist statue, at least 200 meters high, carved into the rock. The rock is stained reddish-brown. On both sides there is a small statue embedded in the rock. The smaller ones are perhaps 50 feet high.
If the statue is in a sitting position, then you are looking at the Big Buddha of Leshan in China.
